Cell lines overexpressing a gene of interest are frequently employed in research settings for a multitude of purposes. LakePharma has experience generating cell lines with gene targets that are difficult to express and have used various cell lines, both suspension and adherent. We also offer custom functional assay development for cell line validation.

Prices and timelines for stable cell line development do not include gene synthesis, molecular construction into expression vector, or plasmid DNA scale-ups.

FOR POOL CELLS:

1. Clone gene of interest into an expression vector containing selectable marker

2. Transfect into host cell line

1. From stable pool cell line, select and expand clones

2. Screen clones using expression validation method and/or functional assays (additional costs may apply)

FOR POOL CELLS:
