Lyophilization

Lyophilization is a very common method of protein storage. It allows for long-term storage of protein with very little threat of degradation and provides convenient protein shipping. The protein needs to be reconstituted before use. However, it may have been damaged by the lyophilization process, therefore, a stability study is necessary.
